It is no longer news that they tried to arrest Sunday Igboho at his residence in Ibadan, but failed. Some people keep wondering where Sunday Igboho was when the visitors visited.
A close aide of Sunday Igboho, according to Vanguard News has disclosed the whereabout of Sunday Igboho on that faithful day. According to him, Sunday Igboho entered into a room in his house, and disappeared before he could be caught.
According to the aide, those who came for Igboho were dressed in army camouflage and military attire. He sad the people in the house were unprepared to receive the unwanted visitors at the time when they forced their way into the house. He alleged that one of Igboho's bodyguard, who goes by the name, Adogan was killed in the process.
He said a lady led the team inside the house, and called the occupants by their names, which meant they had an insider. He also alleged that they took 3 million naira and some jewelries in Ighoho's room, killing 5 people and taking their bodies away.
According to him, they had come for Igboho because of his agitation for Yoruba land.
You may ask why Sunday Igboho didn't disappear with his wife and his close aids.
