The Lagos State protest still holds despite the level at which security agents mounted the places this morning. As it stands, the Yoruba Nation agitators are in Ojota Protesting.
What this means is that the agitators refused to give in to the warnings and went on with the protest. The good thing is that the protest is a peaceful one.
In Lagos, men and women are seen in their large numbers, carrying banners and protesting all over the streets.
Another thing here is that some women are on the street tying white wrappers as they go along with the protesters. What could that mean?
If I may ask; if everyone breaks out of Nigeria, who would remain? We have come a long way from the colonial era till after independence.
For me, I see no need for this. Since the country is not ready to break up, no amount of protest might change it. Let us respect the dream of building "One Nigeria" and give peace a chance.
What do you think?
