Touching story of a thief who falls asleep during an operation

A thief who his name was not mentioned fell asleep during an operation after he has broken into a TV presenter's house in Tanzania.

The incident was confirmed by ITV Zanzibar presenter identified as Farouk Karim during an interview with East Africa Radio.

According to Farouk, he received a call after he left home for morning exercise that a thief was at his home.

He returned back to home immediately he received the call and on getting home, he saw a thief sleeping in his car after he has stolen some shoes and clothes.

Farouk further explained that the young man who was found sleeping in his car after he has stolen some things in his house was unable to get access to his car because the car has been locked. This made the thief to removed the power window from the driver's side of the car and fell asleep in the car.

Farouk added that he called law enforcement and when they arrived the thief was still sleeping until when the law enforcement woke him up and took him to the police station.
