The founder of the Sotitobire church in Akure, Ondo state, Alfa Babatunde, is standing trial for the disappearance of a one year-old boy - Gold Kolawole. The child got missing at the Sotitobire Church November Last Year.
Some of the prophet's Church members who remained loyal to him were barred from entering the court premises and only few people were allowed into the court due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
The court today has admitted the church register as exhibit where the name of the missing child: Gold Kolawole was registered as number 87.
The prosecution also presented two videos which the court admitted where the Founder spoke about the disappearance of the child, however the videos were not played in court.
The court rejected application by Alfa Babatunde to unfreeze his five Bank accounts.
The court also allowed the prosecution to present fresh witness despite objection by the defense counsel saying it would delay the trial process.
